The Horses

  Roger
Feb-Sep 2011
We got Roger as a 7yo, less than a week before he was booked in to be slaughtered. He was an ex racehorse, same old story, basically not good enough for racing anymore. He was started up in jumping but not taken further due to reasons not known to us.
He showed talent jumping when I started riding him, and while we had him we took him out to adult riders, numerous showjumping days, lessons and competed him in dressage.
He has been brilliant to do anything with, very brave and scopey over a fence, lovely soft snaffle mouth and lovely movement.
Loads of fun around a course of jumps, he is currently for sale.

  King
Nov 2010 - May 2011
Georgie rescued King as a neglected 5yo. He was very thin, had chronic mudfever, and had fresh, untreated injuries to his hind legs from a wire fence. She nursed him back to health and when I started riding him we found he was quite a talented boy. Absolutely safe and bombproof, we went on a heap of fun road rides, and once we got him jumping there was no stopping him.
His flatwork started coming along, and come time for him to go he went to the best home we could have hoped for, a lovely family who are now competing him in eventing. Wishing Jess and Mary all the very best with his future!

  Toby
Nov 2010 - June 2011
Toby was the first off the tracker I started up. Georgie had rescued him from going to the market, but  under her care he blossomed into the healthy, happy horse he is today.
He ended up being a super fun all-rounder, safe to get on and have a ride, pop a few logs or cavaletti's, or just take a relaxing  ride. Absolutely wonderful temprement, everybody's best friend!
